La Vela in Bad Wiessee

I imagined the pizza to be better. The bottom was really good, but the toppings and the marinara were terribly bad. I will definitely not go there again. The reception was also rather unwelcoming and I didn't feel welcome. Pity

Simply by far the best restaurant in the whole of Tegernsee! Today (again) we got a fish and grill platter of the very best and can hardly wait for our next visit! Keep up the good work La Vela! :)

My absolute favorite Italian - far beyond the Tegernsee ... Excellent food, the best fresh fish or today mussels, great pasta, today with porcini mushrooms, crispy pizza in all variations, fantastic terrace on the lake, cozy with radiant heaters and blankets, food in Corona times are therefore possible without any problems. And the location, right on the banks of the Tegernsee, is unbeatable. Not to forget the excellent and warm service, many thanks to the entire team for an - once again - unforgettable evening!

Looking for Italians and discovering a great place! Last night (16.10.2020) there were 4 at dinner! Very nice reception by the boss who also does the service! Sat outside, on the sidewalk, but the tables are very nicely set ? The dishes on the menu are very good value for money and the menu has something for everyone Vors From the starter to the main course and dessert! Everything is great! Very good Italian red wine recommended! Will definitely come back the next time we visit Bad Wiessee ??

Great view of the Tegernsee. Very attentive and friendly staff. The food is just fantastic. Always happy. For me the best Italian restaurant in Bad Wiessee.

The restaurant has a nice ambience and the size of the dishes is sufficient. The food tasted very good, I can only recommend it!

Probably one of the best restaurants on Lake Tegernsee! Authentic Italian cuisine with a wonderful ambience at the sailing harbor. Very good!

Pizza is delicious! One star deduction, because the waiters work a little uncoordinated, e.g. bread and oil were not served despite the demand, the bill only came after several inquiries ... The good food made up for it ;-)

There were 2 mini pieces of veal in the noodles. In addition, the pasta was harder than al dente, just as dry and tasteless. For 13 euros you expect a lot more.

Here I am valued as a guest. The starter, fresh warm bread with Italian olive oil. Pepper and salt on it, simply delicious. The homemade pasta with a very tasty tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms I will definitely be back soon.

A beautiful ambience right on the lake and authentic Italian cuisine await the guest here. The atmosphere could be more cordial, instead of dealing with the guests, the staff concentrates on cleaning up from 8 p.m. Tealights are only lit when requested and there was no music here either ... a real Italian without Dolce Vita? Hopefully just an exception yesterday ...

We were very pleasantly surprised. A pleasant, harmonious atmosphere, very courteous service and the food really tasty. Unfortunately, the restaurant's website doesn't reflect that at all.

Waited almost 1 hour for the food. The pizza and pasta only came on request. The starter and the salad were completely forgotten ... we didn't want to either. Food was ok, but nothing more ... You don't have to go there

The prices in relation to quality are not reasonable. The espresso was just a little coffee. Corona rules were only partially followed. Most of the service staff carried that Mouth guards under the nose, some even under the chin.

The food was good and reasonably priced, the staff friendly, the area beautiful - certainly great during normal vacation times ... However, the Corona rules were hardly adhered to, the staff sometimes wore masks under their noses, did not disinfect the tables after each guest and everything was too tight. That's why I didn't feel very comfortable.

1) Asked for a table and receive a “no problem” as answer 2) go there and wait literally 1 hour on a high table to be seated on a dining table 3) another hour to receive the food afterwards 4) eat the pasta that looked more a Mensa dish or cookes by an student under budget 5) as a gift, belly ache all night P.S best thing was the service of our waiter that discounted us something from the bill. P.S.S some waiters should receive a course of how to wear masks during Covid

We ordered the fish dish for 2 people and at first they just brought one small dish. After we complaint they brought a new one. In total we got an amount that could be eaten by just 0.5 people for 45 euros. Very disappointed.

Terrible. I came with 3 friends of mine, once the owners found out we can only speak English, we were immediately told that we can no longer stay there and we need to leave the place. The worst place I've been at. One of my worst experiences in life. La Vela you need to learn humanity.

The place is perfectly located. The set up is really nice. But after 30 min of sitting and waiting, no one is willing to take out order. And it’s barely half full. Completely unacceptable. Such a nice place quasi put to waste. Please please hire staff!!!
